Livin the dream I WAS BASED IN ABE Awesome Awesome captains. The flying blows you wither go to IAD, or PIT and thats it 5AM shows to go to IAD or PIT and back and thats it. OR maybe two roundtrips but thats it, great guys though. If you don't get it Call MIkey Colgan personally he is really really good with that he will hook you up thats how I got ABE.

P.S. Training for any first time 121 is not easy especially the SAAB It was very stressful, and very challenging but can be done, don't worry. The training at XJT is much more detailed, but then agian we have FTD's more Instructors, and I have prior 121 which I think makes the difference we are having a lot of busts recently, my sim partner busted his PC today, and a few others did as well as some other requiring additonal training before PC's

so are you saying you don't get a lot of flying at ABE and those are the only two destinations you'll see? what about training?

do you usually only get one side of that (either united to IAD or USA to PIT) or is it mixed? I dont know how I feel about only going to 2 destinations but it sounds like thats how CJC is. Are there any particular bases where you would get the most destinations for the saab? btw, congrats on passing your ride!!

Actually ALB where i was based also we went to HYA, BUF, LGA, ITH, SYR, ORF, MHT, BOS, ACK, MVY, and a whole bunch of other places. You could fly UAL, or US Air I prefer Pittsburg they have the Madison Deli which has the Italian Madison, a very very tasty samwich, however IAD has Potbelly samwiches which are very very good as well. Also PIT has some really hot girls working in the stores in the mall there so ya know

as a former colgan pilot, do you think it would be more worth it to go for ABE to live with family, or suck it up for a place with more destinations? that is some good info thanks!
