Dont forget that if they meter guys at the beginning, they will have to let more go later on. As was told at one of the "824" meetings, the first 1648 AA new hires will be half 824 flow throughs.

This is not true as it states that they will make their best efforts, but we knew that they were going to meter. Simple as that, 20 guys to AA per month and who knows how many elsewhere. But remember according to some the fact that there is a flow is bad for eagle.

According to some the best thing for eagle is to park all the airplanes so then AMR has to take 50% of the classes from Eagle. Meanwhile AMR and LCC stock dropped over 25% at some point today, some heavy hitters moved their chips around.... This merger isn't a slam dunk, Parker knows it.

Sounds like class size will be 40 so 2 classes a month of 40 per "should" be 40 Eagle guys a month, not 25. Metering makes that a moot point though.

Right now, I don't think AA can handle 2 classes of 80 per month. 50 per month seems to be about max, at least for a while anyway.

Let's do a little mat. 1500 new pilots at aa which include eagle pilots going to aa over 5 years, that's aa talking. That's 300 per year or 25 per month total for 5 years. Why would they do more than 25 a month?

I have no idea why they would but if you look at the 12/4 class there are 20 Eagle flows so the class size is 40 total. They're talking about running a second class in December, could be less than 40 but who knows.

Just like I said. Let the metering begin! Get rid of more frames quickly and perhaps the metering will disappear.

The 804 are next, but when?

20 in January id imagine. They may try to get out of it but it was an arbitration award so it would be difficult. I expect 240 Eagle flows a year as long as AA is hiring. Bottom 804 should be settling in for another 3 years+ at the Beagle.
