This scenario is an absolute pipe dream. You've heard it from multiple people because it's wishful thinking. Rumors tend to be really bad (guys who want things to be awful) and really good (guys who want things to work out). Usually somewhere in the middle is where the truth lies.

My guess is the flow through will be sweetened, maybe the 35% becomes 50% but it won't be that AA hires are hired at AE first. We will get new airplanes but were still going to shrink, my guess is somewhere between 150 and 200 aircraft total.

The plan you suggest would only work if they could strong arm Eagle (and 9E on the DL side) into accepting heavy concessions to match pace with RAH.
Last sentence, in order for eagle pilots to match rah, the eagle pilots should not negotiate just as rah management does not for about seven years and things should balance out.

Even if we get all 60 aircraft that gives us 107 after 2017, still a significant downsizing of AE. Why vote in concessions for such a small reward? Burn it down.

Eagle is getting 150 Ejets and 40 900's. The rest go to PSA

AA will take over hiring pilots for Eagle. The flow through will cover all pilots at Eagle, to include new hires that go there.

Eagle is going to get 90 Ejets initially. That is the only word on the subject as of right now. 30 -900s are going to the puppies at PSA.

Any more or less aircraft than those numbers at this point are speculation.

Oh, what happened to me being "so wrong" just the other day? I told all of you to calm down and that there was a plan in the works for after bankruptcy.

I just don't believe this to be the case. Everyone has their "sources" and in the end we're all on an Internet message board without a clue.

Its my understanding that Mason is in AA, not eagle. I rather hear him, than other with "sources" from eagle.

What do you think a random AA line pilot knows that everyone else doesn't?
