correct this is more specific than mine. Only ATL would have to go thru full initial, MEM 900 is already fenced so min training if you were already on the MEM 900

I don't think what Shy Guy said was really that bad. You guys gang up on him like a bunch of 8th graders anytime he says anything on here.
I don't think he meant to be a D*** with what he posted I think he was just agreeing that the commute will be tough.

Ever heard of the proverbial straw that broke the camels back? Peoples emotions are high right now, and they have big decisions to make. This situation sucks for a lot of people. People post stuff on here without thinking. I'm sure everyone that lives in Memphis or Atlanta is fully aware of how hard it will be to commute. What he said was kinda like rubbing salt in a wound.

There is 1 SOC and certificate. Just a training/operating fence since there are different FOM's between the "fenced" 900 and the -200/ATL 900. Last I was told there is a lot of work going on for a common FOM and a streamlining of CFM/POM's to get away from the full initial training footprints. A 96 hour type course would be the next step, followed by a short differences course as an end goal with common books/curriculums. Of course this was the stated plan in July 2010 when all this began, and has caused an expensive train wreck so far.

Aren't you concerned with their long term viability? Their -200 contract is up in 2015, if I'm not mistaken. A good pal of mine is a 12 year -200 CA that wants to leave because everyone considers it a sinking ship. Your thoughts?
