Default RAH Management Changes

Operations leadership changes announced Paul Kinstedt - VP Flight Operations, Pat Gannon - VP SOC, Rose Doria - VP Labor Relations Republic COO Wayne Heller today announced a leadership reorganization in his Flight Operations Group. Paul Kinstedt moves from his current role as vice president of System Operations Control to vice president of Flight Operations Administration, a position that has been vacant for more than a year. Pat Gannon has been named to replace Paul as vice president of SOC and Rose Doria has joined the Republic Operations leadership team as vice president of Labor Relations replacing the retiring Ron Henson. The changes are effective immediately. Regardless of any growth we may have on the horizon, were facing many challenges this year,” Wayne said. “With changes in training, new regulations and a shrinking pool of qualified pilots to draw from industry wide, our flight operations leadership team will have many obstacles to overcome this year and beyond. Additionally, we’ll also be implementing new programs to enhance safety, operational performance, and working to reach new bargaining agreements with our pilots, flight attendants and dispatchers as well as managing many more major projects. While the work ahead won’t be easy, I’m confident these moves will provide the operational leadership we need get our many jobs done.” Paul Kinstedt joined Chautauqua Airlines in January 2002 as Director of Systems Operations Control. He was promoted to Managing Director then to Vice President of SOC for the Company’s three certificates in September 2006. Before joining Chautauqua, Paul was Vice President of Customer Service and Director of Flight Control for Midway Airlines. “Paul has the experience and temperament needed to lead our Flight Operations team in addressing the challenges that lie ahead this year related to hiring, new FAA regulations and training, as well as moving us forward on E-tablets, SMS, FRMS and AQP implementation across our three certificates,” Wayne said. “These programs will allow Republic to maintain industry leading positions in safety, training and technology.” Pat Gannon is moving from his current role as Shuttle America,170 Captain to a leadership position as Republic Airways Vice President of System Operations Control. He will be responsible for providing guidance and oversight to all three regional subsidiaries Dispatch and Crew Scheduling departments. Pat joined Republic with Shuttle America in 2002 and has held supervisory and management positions in SOC before moving to Line Pilot and Check Airman for both line and SIM. Additionally, Pat has also served as Manager of Standards, Program Manager and Assistant Chief Pilot during his tenure with the Company. He also has served as EC Chairman for IBT Local 357.“Pat’s experience in SOC, flight ops management and as a crew member and Captain is exactly what we need to manage the issues crewmembers deal with on a day-to-day basis,” Wayne said. “Because flying has been his life for so many years, Pat is keenly aware of the impact SOC decisions have on crew members as well as other support groups and will be responsible for implementing improvements that change how SOC and Republic’s crewmembers interact with each other on a day-to-day basis. We’re glad to have Pat joining our leadership team and look forward to putting his expertise to great use in our Republic SOCs.” Rose will be replacing Ron Henson, later this year who will be retiring after nearly seven years as VP of Labor Relations. Rose has more than 30 years of aviation/airline experience with carriers including Business Express Airlines, Midway Airlines, American Eagle, American Airlines and NetJets. In addition, she has over 18 years of experience in Human Resources and Labor and Employee Relations management. “Ron will be a tough act to follow,” said COO Wayne Heller, “but we’re confident that Rose’s background both in the regional and mainline segments of the industry, are just the combination we need lead our employee and labor relations efforts going forward. “Please join me in welcoming Paul, Pat and Rose into their new positions and wishing Ron well in is up and coming retirement!”

Don't feed the troll. 3662 is an F9 pilot pretending to be one of us to stir the pot.

For those that don’t know, Ron Henson was a Senior Partner at Ford and Harrison prior to becoming Senior VP of Labor Relations at RAH.

Ford & Harrison are one of the Law Firms companies call when they need anti-labor Attorneys for negotiations, arbitrations or just trying to keep a Union off property.

It’s quite the message to hire a Senior Partner from this type of scumbag Law Firm to be in charge of “Labor Relations.”

With Rose replacing Ron and Pat on the other side of the table from the Union (at times), we may actually be closer to a TA. It can’t be any worse than Henson.

Of course, Rose will have to be brought up to speed on the history of the negotiations, so that may add a few months to the process…

And, is it true that all the Office workers get to non-rev on all our carriers? Why wasn’t that mentioned during the conference call? Does our EBoard even know this?

And we can’t even ride on a carrier that we paid to non-rev on if we are displaced or change carriers through no choice of our own?!

You keep saying that, I don't think it means what you think it means... Not that your opinion of who I am matters if the facts are true...

Rose used to be Mike (The Snake) Costello's Lieutenant at American Eagle. I don't think you gained much there.

Well. Since this policy is clearly stated on the company website(s) for all employees to read, and even the lowliest of new hires knows this, I'd say "yes" they know.
