Hell, if you want to go to a different airport then just find something that's non-MELable to break. If you're lucky then you get an all-expense paid trip to Albany! Ooooh yeeeaaah!

THe uni-ted bases suck, no doubt about that. I'm at a uni-ted base and we get abused by HEF pretty bad, especially lately. It's all about where u are based. One of the guys I went to class with is living like a king, 18 days off, 100 hrs+ pay credit a month up in johnstown i think. Johnstown sux, but he doesn't have the headaches like we do. I'm #5 now in my base, but have never held a reserve line. Luck I guess. YOu know the deal. Find a base that is pretty junior where you can be senior, get a good line, make some extra loot, and stay away from alb or hef. THat pretty much means stay away from ABE, CHO, SCE, HPN, ALB, and CRW. IT's amazing how life is different for the guys in places like ITH, PQI, PVD, and ORF to name a few. THey get the hose job, but not nearly as bad as us at the united bases. united base= one more chance to get the colganoscopy. KILo, where you originally based at SCE? you can pm me with the answer.

Just out of curiosity, why are the United bases any different than a USAiways base? I know some bases do more repo flights than others and that some of these bases have both United and USAirways SAABS, but doesn't everyone have to do repo flights and not just the United pilots?

Flights are waaay overblocked. We literally fly at 180 kts and dont make block sometimes. Also, the turn times run from between 60 and 140 minutes; no less.
