If you're unhappy with your base at Colgan, then bid for BUF. You'll thank me afterwards.

Oh, so you must wind up flying less and then get stuck doing the repos and the end of the day. That sucks. Do you only have to fly the United SAABs or do they make you do both?

Is that your way of saying the BUF base would make him even more unhappy, or that he would like it in Buffalo?

Only the SAAB fly United. We dont get many repo flights, if any. That's what the stepchildren in HEF are for

But I wouldn't worry about the base I"m at. We already have too many FO's and none are going anywhere in the next 6 months.

Yes. LOL - If you're a Colganite then just look at the lines there to see what I'm talking about.

BUF is cool, harford beats LGA anyday hands down. I did some TDY up there in OCT, and it was the easiest flying ive done yet. Uni-ted gets hosed more becuase there are a limited number of United painted planes. On any given day, 2 or 3 of the captain america's are on united. And when one of those captain america's needs to go elsewhere, guess what..... you get a repo. Not to mention that 121 and 196 are junk! THe flights are short, over blocked and long sits = more duty time and days with less hrs and pay credit.

Face it Fellas Colgan is only good to build 121 time until you can get on with a better regional. Unless of course you like to repo busted airplanes after your 121 flying, I mean who wouldnt wanna sleep in the crew room at HEF???????????????????????????, or better yet have two rejected T/O on your first flight after IOE (yes it was part 91 as well) becuase the brilliant mechanics ddidnt know how to properly reconfigure the stupid CTOT system

Yeah and I sat for along time on reserve at Colgan, and I had 18 days a month off as well in ABE, but I left for better QOL and guess what.....................I made the right choice , you too will soon realize, and when the light comes shining upon you my dear friend I will gladly walk your resume in
