Or maybe it was a simple suggestion from the above poster and in no way reflects the pilot selection process.
Catching them in a social setting would probably be a good idea though. As it is with most any company.

If you can catch the recruiters at the hotel bar, you're pretty much guaranteed the job. Skip the trip to St.louis. It wouldn't hurt to pick up the tab either. What they usually do is qualify you at the job fair, and then conduct interviews in St.Louis or if your lucky enough to live in a city where their associated flight schools are located,(NAA or Aerosim) you will have a much more pleasurable experience. I'm just saying, if your the one searching for the job and pursuing them, yea buy the drinks. It's not like they were head hunters recruiting you to join their team. Btw, just an idea of what you can expect from training pay as a new hire.. $600 every two weeks for two months. Plan accordingly.
