And any industry veteran that goes there knowing what Gojet is, how poor the contract is, why they were created, and what Gojet has done to put downward pressure on wages in the regional industry gets what they deserve. I was jumpseating to work last week and a Gojet guy who went there seeking a fast upgrade from another carrier was whining to a United guy about how they are treated at Gojet, the intimidation tactics and how awful it is to work there. And how they lied to him about the fast upgrade. Serves him right.

Anyone who goes there gets what they deserve. Right now I'm making more money and made $3000 more last winter than I would have at Gojet due to cancellation pay. Anybody that goes to Gojet right now is financially illiterate.
dude, you are a regional pilot....the sooner you realize this and get over yourself, the better.

My point was that a guy who left eagle a few years ago would now be a captain at Gojet, whereas had he stayed at eagle he'd still be an FO. Who's financially illiterate?

I think he's saying that same guy would also be a captain at TSA, and be making far more money with a better contract.

I would stay far, far away from Go Jet......... You may, or may not get on the jumpseat to work. And everyone will think you're a dirt bag.

Anyone with any substance of character knows that the GoJet guy isn't the dirt bag.

Default GoJet Pilots are Professional

Having joined GoJet after Comair, I can say the pilot group is just as professional as the pilot group I left. Any new pilot joining this group is joining a high quality team of professionals.

And everyone knows anyone denying GoJet pilots or any other pilots for political reasons runs the risk of shutting their out their own pilot group out of jumpseats. JT8D you are not speaking truth.

Thank you for your input, I do appreciate it.
Base bid is on FLICA. Spoke to the DO, will open with up to 20 crews, then grow from there. Base is not fully subscribed.

JT8D is right. They won't tell you its because you work for Gojet.....but many legitimate reasons can be found for denying a jumpseat. Not saying I agree with this, because I don't. But I have been amazed at the number of mainline guys and guys at other regionals that say they will do not do anything to help a Gojet guy out on the jumpseat.

I'm not casting judgement on everyone there. But a number of pilots that started the whole debacle are still over there. To qualify them as consummate professionals is just wrong.
