Why do the mainline guys keep saying that we are dragging down the industry?

Aren't the mainline pilots the ones who allow these big planes AT the regionals?

If they "just said no" then we'd be flying around in Dash's and such still.

That's it!! Because we all know pilots at RAH and other regionals are inexperienced! I'm sure that pax would've been much better off cramped on a CRJ with a 62 year old disgruntled lifer at the helm and an angry FO who blames AA decisions on RAH.

There have been fun explanations to why they call themselves this but the one they use the most is Republic Eagle, on the Eafle Forum there are many threads with FB post from RAH folks calling themselves this and salivating over flying more Ejets on behalf of AA.

***discalimer***. It's new hires who say this crap as they don't know better, but you don't see this with SKW and EXJ. Republic Eagle, ha ha.
Republic Eagle?!? People really say that? Dont be upset with guys that do that, just feel sympathy and pray that one day they will see the light that nobody really cares how much you try to sweeten up your regionals name.

Ohhhhh so we are all lesser pilots than u because we flew for Colgan? Ur Saab pilots > CJC Saab pilots.

I wonder how many non-pilot airline management personnel read this forum. The reason I ask is because I have a friend in PHX (non-pilot) who is a Fare Analyst for US Airways (soon to be moving to DFW to work at AA HQ). One day HE asked ME if I've ever heard of this forum (I responded "yes" - embarrassingly). He asked if all pilots were big cry babies like the ones that post on here (I responded "no" - emphatically).

Don't you think this forum is common knowledge among airline management personnel (I'm sure many from the flying public have stumbled across this forum as well). I would bet dollars to donuts that airline management LOVE this constant bickering among the pilot groups - and the flying public probably think this profession is a joke.

There are the PSA pilots of the industry who cut the legs out from other groups. They think their actions exist in a vacuum and can't see the long term effects if their actions. All in exchange for 12 additional interviews at mainline, some new aircraft and the promise that they are growth and not replacement.
