The best thing you Eagle pilots can do is go work at a major or legacy. Quit fighting to try and save your crappy regional and focus your efforts on getting out of there. Yes, I said "crappy regional" because all regionals are crap compared to a major airline when it comes to pay and quality of life. I see this now that I'm at a major.
The more you guys try to fight and save regional airlines, the longer these places will linger and degrade the profession. If the regionals continue to get worse, my hope is that no one will want to work for them. That, coupled with the pilot shortage, will hopefully cause these cesspool regionals to collapse and put the jobs back where they belong.

Lol.
You think we want to be stuck here? MANY of us have been trying for YEARS to get hired someplace better. We have apps in everywhere, attend job fairs, have recommendations.. Check all the boxes plus extras, Yet never even get the opportunity to even interview.

LiveLeak.com - I do not want to sit next this guy during flight
While the video is funny listen to the PA. This is what were are talking about when they call them selves American Eagle. Just another slap in the face.
It is a complement that American has decided to keep "American Eagle" brand name and paint all of it's RJ's in this livery. Because it recognizes the hard work we've done over the years to create such a name that the passengers respect. Now to still call us American Eagle and let others do the same is an insult to the hard working employees of L-Eagle.

That's quite a high horse you're screaming down to the unwashed from there pal.

Why not try to raise the standards at every regional and give mainline less of a financial reason to try to get regionals to accept bigger and bigger aircraft? We all want to see the maximum number of aircraft at mainline that we can.

So many pilots don't understand this.
