I am sorry I led you to believe that RAH was there, they weren't. Our guys are in talks with their union and are sharing information but outside of ALpA local and the top three AE managers there was no one in attendance outside of that. APA is supposed to attend today for what I was told, yesterday was the company putting a dog and pony show by the company. The meat and tatters of the meeting is today.

It was decided that we will countered but the MEC is waiting on numbers and the numbers guy in the management side was there yesterday so the MEC might have gotten some of their answers, today is when they will build/finalize the response to management. It could take longer as well dependent on what happened last night. Our guys are willing to fight and are not looking for the last games.

Not sure why. If APA isn't in on the eventual deal we get with the company there is no reason to stay here. I'm still holding out hope something will get done but it doesn't look good. Everyone's circumstances are different but I don't live near an Eagle base anymore and I am not senior enough to expect an upgrade in the relatively near future unless we stay the same size.

Without APA Compass is a legitimate lateral move.

There was no need for APA to be there yesterday as the main agenda yesterday was the company (AE) top execs making a visit and making a case why the eagle pilots should consider negotiating with them. Today on the other hand, the MEC delivered a set of request to the company and the meeting today is about how to respond to management as far as what to proposal to pitch with, APA yesterday would have been there and not been able to do anything as the AA managers weren't there it was just the AE management.

Thats true, the APA proposal is a pipe dream though. It's a cool idea but never going to happen.
