AWAC Interviews
#11
After the face to face portion I was offered the job on the spot and sent for a drug test at a different location on way back to airport.
Only been a few days so waiting for the background checks to clear (no worries, but this stuff can get bogged down in some HR office somewhere)

Thanks BT. I'm former Indy currently teaching at a 142 school (the very expensive type-rating one). Interestingly enough I was the high time guy at the interview and am already typed in the 200. I really felt relaxed at the interview and thought they did a nice job. At the end of that week I received a call for an interview in FEB that made me feel really BLUE, so I owe it to myself to give that opportunity a chance. As a result, I told them I could not take a feb class. I asked to be rolled to March but my wife is proving difficult to convince given the first year is close to 1/3 of my present salary. In the last two years instructing job has turned into a miserable dead end road to nowhere. As a result, I'm trying to bail. My issue is recency. I've flown 25-50 hours a year for the last 3 years. Even contract work (also typed in the Challenger 604 and Gulfstream IV) is tough to come by without recency.
