As for DC's, I wore my trusty DCs for 15 years, and while they work great, and are rugged, there just came a time when I couldn't take the headaches any more....especially given the long days of a regional pilot.
Trust me....the QC/UFM combo is a great deal.

*Which* Sennheisers? Anybody tried a set of these?
Sennheiser HMEC 26-2 - Pilot Headset - Aviation Headset for Commercial Jets - ETSO / TSO approved - Active Noise Reduction NoiseGard?

Currently using QC-15s with a TSOed UflyMic. Works good as well, even in a noisy 737 cockpit.

Everyone is a bit different of course but I really enjoy my Sennheisers. They don't really bother me even on longer flights.I prefer the over the ear cup for better noise reduction and protection. I don't want to be old and have everyone constantly scream at you because you can hear sh!t.My suggestion if you have a credit card with enough on it, buy the 3 you are most interested in.Try them on and walk around the house for a few hours in each one.The one that fits you best and you find most comfortable keep those and return the rest for a refund. That's what I did.
