I wouldn't call him a Jacka$$, it's his opinion. Although he's highly misinformed.

It's already around a 4 year upgrade. With this announcement I would expect it to drop further. Good luck filling those classes at PSA and trying to justify taking concessions though.

People can work wherever they want. Mesa a more attractive place to work?? Now that is funny!

Based on my seniority position and the number of captains needed to staff this new flying and the attrition for current flying my upgrade will likely occur this year and that will be 3.5 years after I sat my but in Indoc.

I think its funny all those naysayers coming on here, saying oh 200's are totally donzo, there is no future at AWAC etc etc.

Based on what Parker and AGG does with AWAC. Piedmont starts getting 145's in June and it looks like 30 of them. They might be AWAC replacement planes.

Yeah...that really worked for PSA...they took less money and grabbed for a promise of shiny jets...but still can't fill classes.

Not only is AWAC adding new flying but it is picking up more flying from American because their wholly-owneds can't fulfill their obligations....all without any pay cuts.

But that hasn't halted the hubris of some PSA flyers...while passing through the CLT crew room in Sept I heard one guy with full-blown SJS...talking about practicing his portuguese...

Until the exact problem Endeavor is experiencing affects them. Not a lot of people lining up to fly for less than $20,000 /yr. Maybe they do get rid of us on the AA/US air side, but hopefully our owners have something worked out with Delta that would allow us to move planes over to that side of things if they needed to.

PSA is not having trouble filling classes and we are not having trouble filling our obligations to AAG.

We are putting nearly 50/month in class and do not cancel flights for crew.

Good luck with your new jets.

Wrong thread, but does PDT have a training program for the 145 already? Or are they just gonna take Eagle's program?
