Precisely. 15 of the 30 already delivered. 3 per month on the 900s till June to finish them off, then the 47 700's start coming. After that, if there are still FO's somewhere left in the world, will likely get the majority of the 40 CRJ900 options.

From what I understand the E170/175 isn't a stellar performer when it comes to hot/high conditions. I have heard that it goes often out restricted in DEN/SLC and Montana airports. Anybody know if this is true or not?

I have flown it out of SLC and virtually all of the Montana airports and I have never seen it weight restricted. CPZ has a mod and MGTOW is 89000lbs on the 175. Not sure if any other operators are using this mod. Maybe everyone is, I just don't know.

This is correct... try to fly the thing full from DEN or SLC during the summer, on a longer route, and you'll be leaving quite a few behind... and yes even in a Compass jet.

I hear they are going to put some 175 stickers over the 900 stickers and give them to Envoy.

Not true. Period.

Left one non rev behind once when it was 104 out. That's it.

From SLC to FAR and to OMA when it was 35C out, had to leave 10 behind and then go sit on the tarmac and burn fuel. That's some density alt though....

Yes. Back in the summer of 2012 I believe when Compass was doing some flying out of SLC, there were huge weight restrictions on the longer staged flights SLC-MSN/FAR/ORD etc... that's why Delta then decided to end the Compass flying in SLC, of course until the return at the end of 2013. On the shorter stage lengths its not a problem. The restriction is - second segment climb (thus reducing MTOW) - the CRJ9 sees it too on SLC-ORD, although its not as bad.

Montana is not that far from SLC, so you don't need a huge fuel load.

I just saw something that implies they MAY be going to RAH (a couple of our sdf pilots are getting trained on the CRJ). I have no idea why Republic would want them but it looks like I might be happening.
