To CLTguy and chrisderules.

We are not too expensive. It means nothing to the pilots.

Only time will tell.
Incorrect...At Endeavor we are having record number numbers for new hire classes...

What's reality? The fact that people were still going to AWAC before this announcement?

I never said you were... I don't think you, or any of us are paid enough to do this job.

And we are still getting handfuls of your FOs in each class at PSA. Anyway, I don't want to derail this tread any further. Congrats to Air Whiskey for the contunued flying, I'm happy for my friends there and I know this takes a lot of stress off of people's shoulders.

I didn't say you didn't have new hires. It's your 4-5 FO's that are bailing because they can go right to Capt.

It's only derailed by the haters that took pay cuts to fly shiny new jets. AWAC operates on a concessionary contract that is still top of the regional industry.

fee for departure regionals all have contracts and those contracts all have ends so no pilot at a regional has lifelong stability, plus the industry will look completely different in 2018 so no one can predict the future.
The truth is all regionals will have trouble staffing, the pool is getting shallow already, three years is an eternity from now.
But this is good to hear that a good airline with a top notch contract is sticking around
