blimey. I was all keyed up for something satiating and revealing of eternal excellence.

Six more months of paper charts

What, were you expecting a flow through to Southwest?

True, but morally and logically speaking, FOs log SIC if they are listed as such on the release.

Of course, I wouldn't advocate anything but that. But you know, some people are snowflakes and have to do their own thing...

Has it ever been brought up (as a contract item) about maintaining retirement benefits when going from EDV to DL, instead of starting over at day 1 upon getting to DL?

Idk much about snowflakes but there are ways to fly airplanes besides 121, and they go off insurance requirements which includes part 61 pic.

It's just different, not immoral.

Are you referring to travel benefits? i.e. maintaining your EDV DOH? What other benefits would be involved in this?

He's referring to the 10 year mark where you get travel benefits for life. So say he did 5 years at EDV and 5 at Delta.

Basically yes. At an AA WO, if one works for 5 years then flows to AA, they keep their longevity, and retirement benefits start after 5 years at AA, plus the 5 at WO, for 10 years total. If I understand correctly, if we work at EDV for 9 years, then move to DL, we start back at year 1 as regards flight benefits.
