If a person works for 5 years at EDV, then leaves to go to DL, but is 57 when arriving at DL, theoretically he/she will never receive flight benefits from either company. (Of course, a person would be S3 after retiring at DL, I wasn't suggesting we keep EDV level of service, just "tenure".)
I ask because I know of two guys in the past couple of months who turned down a CJO at EDV to go to PDT because they DO offer longevity. I'm sure it's not a primary ]consideration for everyone, but people who are smart enough to think about their future are paying attention.

Heck, I would just like to have access to all the discounts on Delta Perks. 75% Fedex, great deals on insurance etc. heck they own us and that would not cost them anything to extend those to us.

Could anybody experienced ,probably senior FOs through check airmen, shoot me a PM or let me shoot them a PM? I've got an operational type question...perhaps it's a dumb question. (It's nothing bad.) Thanks.
