As is usually the case, YOU are trying to make this about YOU. No one else cares enough about you to make this about YOU. Maybe if you had people out there in the "REAL 3D WORLD" in your life, you wouldn't care if a bunch of anonymous pilots behind screennames cared about you or not.

......try and reshape reality there to fantasy so that others become this cute little fella that you have been and are now committed to be, thus maximizing the speed of your shuffle down the old dirt trail to the shimmering water hole that is supposed to be AA, while they take your place.

The most recent flows from PSA were 2005 hires, (11 years at PSA). As I seem to recall, the most recent flows from Envoy had 13 -15 years at Envoy. Just sayin'.
I hope we all realize that none of the pilots who have flowed to American accepted jobs at PSA or Envoy or Piedmont with any idea that a flow would ever exist. They didn't plan their career progression based on flow. You should not plan YOUR career progression based on flow either.

The latter half of this year could be a particularly distressing stretch for poor Charlie Bucket, unless of course he can get into one of those shiny mini-Airbuses which would soften the bumps a little like the union leadership is maneuvering themselves in (out of seniority, I hear).

2.) American decides to add a new rung to the career ladder by saying anyone who wants to work at American MUST go through one of their wholly owned regionals no exceptions. That would mean that a pilot working at a carrier such as Republic would have to quit Republic and go to work for PSA, Envoy, or PDT.
This. Why doesn't AA just make flow the only way to get hired at mainline? Seems like you would more easily keep your regional feed alive, while recruiting from a know pilot source (those already doing the job under AA colors).

Because, after all, keeping the regional industry alive at the expense of other pilots is a good thing, right??
Little doubt AA WH'd pilots would love this little gem, cutting out anyone who is more qualified than they are.
I'll support Doug Parker's ponzi scheme as long as I can benefit from it.
