Funny thing is, the truth of flying the line is way better than any fiction. Morons like him provide volumes of material, and endless entertainment for captains around the world. He probably never noticed that when he walks up to a group of captains the subject of discussion usually involves MELs or SOPM details. They were really, discussing the latest(him), Edwards Flight Test candidate.
I should ask him if he is the F/O who reads a 3x5 card for the seatbelt announcements.

Of course. The SFO free wifi is such a joke that I often use my Droid to get anything accomplished online.

But I'm still calling BS on the story. Like 99% of everything else he posts. It's mildly amusing...but he just makes this stuff up for his own entertainment.

I've flown with CCB. He's a decent guy in person, and can be entertaining to talk to. I am 100% sure he would never talk to anyone in real life in the same way he does on these forums. To be honest I kind of feel sorry for him. I don't think this industry has done him many favors, and I would probably feel the same if I was in his shoes.

He is, however, the most paranoid conspiracy theorist you'll ever meet. As in, black-helicopters-caused-9/11 kind of conspiracies. Mention his name to any SKW captain who's been around for a while and they'll just roll their eyes and laugh and go "Oh, that guy. Yeah, I used to fly with him a lot. Is he still into his conspiracies?"

I'll give you this: Forrest Gump is indeed smarter than me. Because Forrest didn't waste his time arguing with Internet bullies, as I currently am.

these last few pages have been hilarious. Typical of the guys I'm flying with. I don't know how most of them got hired here. They are so far out of touch they don't even realize how bad things are getting. I talked to a scheduler last week and she said with so many people quitting, they have no clue how they will staff summer flying and everyone will be working their tails off. The emails going to people who call in sick will skyrocket no doubt and people will be told that they are not responsible. SAPA has left the building and I think it's Every pilot for themselves. Get your time and get out. The new hires are failing faster than the lifers eyesight. It's fun watching the head in the sand crowd gasp at how quickly the sand is drowning them.

 

Usually you pay double for that kind of action..

 

Easy there, I would argue these guys are the exception rather than the norm and we've been (barely) able to post a net gain in pilots as people leave daily. I'm hardly a company apologist but they are recruiting more than any other regional as far as I know. I'm sure this summer will be just as crazy as every summer since I was hired, nothing new.
