You can't wait until you "need" a union and *poof* the union fairy comes with her magic wand and delivers a beautiful MEC and a fresh little contract! You NEED a union to prevent yourself from needing a union!

Ah, to have a memory so short. Lest you forget the last union vote at SKW, management gave everyone a raise right before the vote, the vote went no, and then they rescinded the raise immediately! So now they give you guys an "over-ride" on the 70 seaters and everyone's happy and saying, "we don't need a union." Just wait till after the drive stops or the vote fails and they rescind the pay increase.

Until you vote in a union, SKW is just some cheap scab labor undercutting companies with unions and protected benefits, lowering the bar.

Call me crazy, but I have a feeling that your company is about three steps below Skywest on the pay/benefits/work rules. What company do you fly for? I would bet your company has lowered the bar much lower than Skywest!

This appears to be a theme today...DON'T USE THE WORD SCAB WHERE IT DOES NOT APPLY!

Skywest isn't even in the same ballpark, in fact it's far better than the majority of union regionals...and I know, because I already paid my alpa dues. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any 340 operators that pay more than the EMB120 at SKW

You know you SKywest guys are making a lot of enemies with your arrogance and your ignorant views towards ALPA/Unions. An "override" for 70 seat jets thats a joke, and you guys continue to support your management that treats you like children

No, we aren't walked all over. We still have some of the highest payrates in the industry. More than ASA, transtates, PCL, MESA and ect.

I bet my W2 says more than yours. But like I said, I don't really care.
