Not sure why people are willing to wait around for a class at an airline that is done growing. Growth is what drives a lot of what people want in an airline.

Just curious... If you feel we're done growing, do you also feel the 100-jet order will be cancelled?

I don’t think most will wait around, and I certainly wouldn’t blame any who left after a six month wait. I probably wouldn’t choose Republic if it meant losing seniority waiting on a ground school date. It’s important to remember many who have future ground school dates don’t currently meet 121 minimums. They have a COE pending meeting those hours.

Most at Republic are content because the QOL is good. Growth is nice, but upgrades are currently just above 2 years without growth. Now if Republic has zero growth over the next 12 months, then obviously it would not be good for junior FOs.

Those are firm orders, so we will most likely get them. Embraer says they’re scheduled for delivery next year. I highly doubt we will ever see the E2 though, which is a good thing. The last two captains vacancies have been at max capacity for sims, so something is up.

I’m not sure you quite know what your talking about. 100 new planes for 0 growth? Highly unlikely

We have 100 firm orders with 100 options. A bunch are replacements for the older E170's, but there's a number that will be growth I'm sure. Just because it hasn't been announced today, doesn't mean it won't be.

76 seaters are scoped out at mainline. Above 65 seats is a large RJ at AA. Not sure about UAL or DAL.

It appears JuniorFO is an ExpressJet recruiter. Disregard any of his comments.

Good luck on filling them classes!

We could easily take 4/5 seats out of the E170 to add to AA and then take delivery of 76 seat E175s.

That’s just one possibility. Nothing is certain, but there are opportunities for growth. I do think a lot of what’s been going on has been lying on the hopes of some deal going through which could completely fall apart.
