If we take delivery of any of them, it will solely be for replacement aircraft and NOT growth. There is an out clause carved into the order regarding scope. If scope relief doesn’t happen, which it appears as though it will not, we will be able to get out of the order without penalty.

Classes are full for 2019, but they expect some no shows due to long wait time. Depending on what happens over the next few months, we could hire more in 2019. If your interested in Republic, then apply. They will be in contact if hiring picks up. Also I doubt the bonus stays that high, because we are seriously over staffed right now.

You think airlines base decisions off of common sense?

As much as all the armchair CEOs like to think they know more than the company, they don’t. No one knows what’s going on behind the scenes so instead of all the doom and gloom, people need to relax and let it play out.

Simply look at their accounts post history. That guy has a hand in recruitment as is mad because he can’t figure out why people still want to work at republic instead of going to ExpressJet (who by the way is having a hell of a time with recruitment even with the new contract and 175SC)

Honestly, we’ve been hearing that “something is going on behind the scenes” for over a year now. No announcement.
