Nope, they aren’t. These guys either realize this is incredibly stupid and childish (props to them), or they’re going to defend it regardless of, well, their own arguments.

Did AA change the agreement on Republic? No, it was Republic trying to fix what has been unfair for years.

UA unilaterally changed the agreement then asked Skywest, Republic, and Mesa to take it or leave it. The Union's stance is that this action is so egregious that it voids any jumpseat agreement. Hence as of now none exists.

Perhaps you should answer your own question before remarking on decisions?

Death by the teamsters, enjoy having your name floated around the FTC. Your CC sucks and UALs is great, they’ll just PS us on your flight likely bumping your own non-revs.
We don’t plan on refusing anyone other than a scab the j/s at UAL. After reading that comm from your union and already hearing of guys denying us the j/s I’m personally glad you guys aren’t part of Aviate.
Cheers

Relax. 99% of the YX pilot group doesn't agree with what the teamsters are doing. That being said, you have to agree that United pulled something pretty shady. They’re not WOs... those preferred UAX partners are simply regionals with such a terrible product no other carrier wanted to use them.

Our FOM doesn’t say United and UAX pilots are not allowed on our jumpseat. Until that happens I will never deny the jumpseat to anyone.

It gets better....we just had a United pilot denied the jumpseat from Republic. Apparently the gate agent was told by the Captain to not even send anyone down from United and showed them the letter. This Republic Captain didn’t even have the guts to deny him in person.

I’m glad to hear there are people out there with their heads on straight who will not follow this instruction from your boneheaded union. They are causing irreparable damage

They have been working on a reciprocal agreement for 2 years, where Republic, Skywest and Mesa pilots would be AHEAD of Delta, Southwest, etc. But these pilots want to hold onto the “super-priority” they had because the United Express system could not determine between pilots from different carriers, so a Republic pilot would go ahead of a United pilot on Express Jet, for example, which made NO sense. Now that its the way it should be, they are throwing a fit.

They are going to lose. Its going to be ugly for all pilots at those airlines.

UALMEC saying that documented jumpseat agreements did not exist between United and the UAX airlines.
