Yep, well according to this site. Looks like it’s the Regionals who are exclusive United. Regardless Republic and Mesa pilots will still be above OALs.

No, it really doesn’t. YX will just end up updating their JS priority tables to reciprocate to UA’s priority and the pilot group will follow the company manuals. Hopefully OO/YV will follow suit with that action. A “Jumpseat war” implies denying the JS to someone based on where they work and not following company manuals.

I haven’t seen the updated list, but it sounds like you guys just have to sign a new agreement with ALPA , and then you would have some priority. They’re giving higher priority (Like AA WOs) to carriers that only fly for United. I’m not sure how you would reciprocate? Doesn’t United own ExpressJet?

I’m sure it’s over 50 percent, so that would be controlling. I see how you guys would feel slighted, especially those who are based in ORD or EWR.

Doubtful, because Republic did this exact same thing in 2017. ALPA blinked then, so I would say United management doesn’t care. They care about keeping their flights covered and profits. Also I’m pretty sure Republic doesn’t let UA FAs on the FA Jumpseat’s they have, but it may have changed in the last couple years.

This would never happen with a cockpit JS. If they decided to retaliate against an employee because said employee was following the FAR’s (121.547), management would be going down a very slippery slope of potential lawsuits and FAA consequences. Nonsense.

What a That’s the last time I hustle to get an aircraft out in that ridiculous 29 minute min turn window. My stroll from A to C in EWR just got a little bit slower, maybe with a pit stop along the way. They want to treat us like OAL pilots while we support their crap product on a daily basis? Good luck.
United just ****ed off the two largest pilot groups that support their regional operation.
