Then let’s see the reciprocal jumpseat agreement signed by both unions.

You mean the one with the ALPA logo on it?

If you have one with a UAL MEC signature produce it. UAL MEC says it doesn’t exist. So until some UAX produces one signed prior to the current one dated May 19th, it doesn’t exist and your entire argument is BS......

What is the average age of the people running the Teamsters MEC at Republic...and how long have they been in the airline pilot business ?
Seems obvious their actions lack experience.

The eboard was comprised of very senior pilots when I was there. I’d say the average age was well into their forties. What’s your age and experience? It really doesn’t take much to realize what United alpa is doing is wrong. Well done Rpa pilots. Way to take a stand!

They are going to lose. Its going to be ugly for all pilots at those airlines.

Priority was
1Own company.
2UAL+UA regional.
3OAL.
All by time of check in.
Not republic with “super priority”.

Everyone’s equal by time of check on everyone’s flights.

Now United wants to be 2nd on everyone’s flights above everyone else. That’s not the way it should be. That’s why there’s a “fit”

I really tried to stay out of this... but how??? The priority that UAL put out was what I assumed it was all along. You still have priority in your own metal. The only real change was UAL giving those carriers who exclusively flew UAL feeder priority over regional pilots who flew for multiple carriers. This makes sense. Why in the world should UAL put a pilot who may be going to “work” for DAL or AAG priority over a pilot going to “work” for UAL?? This is how it used to be in regionals where I worked, I just assumed it applied to UAL as well.
Some of us have been around long enough to remember when the JS was not assumed. Some carriers (including my regional), didn’t have it. The pilots at my regional (ASA) actually gave up negotiating capital to get it. After 9/11 it was gone again. Now you’re going to tell me my old regional that fought for the jump seat you now enjoy isn’t welcome on yours??? Go stick it.

Well don’t work at the regionals so I won’t “stick it.” But since you asked yes that is exactly what I am saying. The point is they don’t have the right to unilaterally change a reciprocal jumpseat agreement. Agreement is a key word in this. One of the parties never agreed to the change.

The “jumpseat agreement” was just that. An agreement to mutual jumpseat. Nothing in that agreement about the priorities. And yes, they can change it. It was not done “unilaterally” they sent it to Republic months ago. You guys didn’t like it.
Republic has had a sweet deal for some time when it comes to Nonrev and jumpseat. The change was putting it in line with what is the industry standard.
I also don’t work at a regional. My airline (K4) has very specific rules for complying with the international JS due to cockpit access. Either an airline complies or they can’t go international.
I’ve never been denied a JS on an airline due to our rules. As I wrote I’ve been around long enough to remember the fight for the JS.
The first side to deny the JS and initiate this “war” were Republic and SkyWest. So remember, you guys started this.
