This sucks and makes 9-11 and 08 look like a fly on a wall. It痴 unreal what is happening and to think this could continue for rest of year I知 not sure what airlines will do.

You aren't alone in trying to figure out what will happen. I'm one of the ones that got sent home from training during this ordeal. We've been told that if we are out for an extended period of time, we might have to start back through INDOC again. If thats the case, it will take an additional month or so after the training center gets going again before they'd bring in a complete NH class from scratch. That is if (F word) aren't brought into the mix. Since being sent home, I spend my time with my family, I study each day, I work on my plan B, I go out for a run & exercise, and overall I spend maybe 30 minutes perusing the forums for information. This is the time to enjoy those moments with family, because once you are working the line, you aren't going to be home every night. TBH, we have no control over what happens, just sit back and roll with the punches. It took me about a week or two to get in this mindset, but I can tell you, not obsessing over what you can't control will do wonders for your health and outlook on the situation.
Cheers

YAK, Judging from your previous posts it looks like you are awaiting a class date for the future. Unfortunately the information being passed has been slow and and sometimes surprising. My best word of advice to you would be get a medium term plan B running right now, whether it be going back to instructing or whatever it was that you did before taking the YX job offer so you can put food in your mouth. It could be a while before new hire classes come back. I've seen some sources say it won't be until 2021 when the training center ramps up again. (its all speculation).

Hiring coming back? Next year at the earliest. I honestly do not see a scenario where we are hiring again this year. People are already talking about massive furloughs occurring if we do not get the stimulus money, or if we do when it runs out in Oct.
