That's awfully presumptuous of you, don't you think?
I think everyone here is/was looking forward to reading about his experience - particularly those of us who haven't been through the process yet. Don't you think you could have been a bit more diplomatic in asking for an update? It seems you weren't and aren't interested in the content of the "blog." You wanted to cut the guy down because he had the gall to attempt it.
Worst of all, the first person to respond to you was pretty laid back in an attempt to add some perspective. Instead of walking it back and redirecting the convo to something productive - you dug your heels into the dirt, flailing around trying to preserve your bruised ego - going as far as to call his response "idiotic" for telling you to cut him some slack.
You've been a condescending jerk in this thread for no reason at all. It's a bad look, and it reflects poorly on your company and coworkers.

i don't know, as "freakin mint" as you asking the same reserve/time to hold a base question over and over again for the last year? That's a close one. BTW, thanks for the bump which highlights the guy still has yet to leave a blog entry.
