I’m in the northeast about 45 min south of Boston and 20 min to providence. I have an ATP 2300TT 1600 multi 1700PIC 0 turbine though. I was the 3/3 class at republic.

so let me get this straight. You guys offer a do nothing option for 50 hours or be on long call reserve for 9 days for 37.5 hours of pay??? Who in there right mind would take the reserve days?

People not senior enough to get SVB. But in all honesty, the 37.5 hours of pay thing was developed before SVB was an option to help alive people who would have to commute. For some reason it was kept after SVB was offered. For a while almost everybody who wanted SVB got it so I doubt there were people on the 37.5 deal. That is not the case anymore, not as many people are being granted SVB so maybe more will go after the other option although I still think it is a bad deal.

Additionally, people on the special LCR can pick up flying off the trade board (on their days off) and increase their total hours for the month. Those on the special leave (50 hrs) are not permitted to pick up any flying. Believe it or not, some guys want or need the hours so they chose that option (special LCR).

Correct or 1,000 121 time. It may not help but in the job market that's coming you want every box checked you can reasonably get. PICs facing downgrades might also be trying to snag a little more command time.

What’s the 411 lately? Is there a good indication of how many numbers of furloughs are y’all expecting?

It's been eerily silent since BB's letter two weeks ago. I suspect that just like with the new hires in training, we won't know until a comply "Notice of Furlough" memo hits our ipads followed by a "Hope this finds you well......we are in unprecedented times" post by BB on our intranet page. Then the official letters will arrive in the mail a couple days later. The fact remains that TSA numbers continue to suck and future bookings look absolutely dismal, so I don't expect the news to be good.

Rumor around the training center during ground school/GFS was 600 furloughs + 300 downgrades. But we all know how accurate our training center rumors are.

if there was any truth to that, they would have already posted the downgrade bid.
