I think it's a fluid situation and relative to how many new hires come in the door. From what I understand, it sounds like when Delta unilaterally extended the CPA there was a clause for a rate renegotiation next May. My guess is that come May if we have enough bodies to staff the flying, we will keep it. If not, BB will come up with a ridiculous amount of money for Delta to keep it, and that will be the way to get out of the flying. For now it seems like there is no plan since there have been mass exodus bids off the plane and then the next month they're trying to restaff it again.

Probably a couple of months.....hard to say, a lot of movement right now.

 

Skype interviews seem to be the norm to replace the initial phone pre-interview for some,or just as a full one. I interviewed with a few Regionals and the Silver one was a full Skype interview.Yes, I was in my gym shorts with a shirt, lol. After the Skype conversation with the HR guy and the 2 CAs, I received an email with 25 ATP questions and had 30 minutes to send it back. I understand that's the way they do things but I felt it was a bit weak, cheap, process.
My RAH interview was the standard one, like a few other guys on here went through, phone pre-brief then flight to Indy with full company into, interview, lunch, Q&A sessions, etc.

@aewanabe, MIA depends, they told me it's impossible to give a definite time before one can get it, they were cautious and told me 10 months to a year, MAYBE, before I could get it. Keep in mind too that you'd be on reserve for quiet a while if based at MIA.

 

Anyone know the size of the MIA base and whether there are plans to grow or shrink the base? Rumor is that Envoy may be opening MIA back up.
