It is somewhat interesting to read some of the responses and calls for action. Unfortunately, we've already been down this road with KAL007. Here is a quick article I found on the sanctions that were imposed back then. Most were directed at Aeroflot and Russian civil aviation. Very few were directed at military or economic sanctions outside of civil aviation

Putin flew through that area 37 minutes prior to the shooting.

And then this?

Just speculation, but may it be a botched assassination?

Putin paint scheme
Malaysia paint scheme (minus two engines....)
Putin plane reportedly in area same time frame. Paint scheme similar. Coincidence ? I don't know. Could an untrained, retarded, cave-savage militant with long range binoculars be able to discern the difference before pulling the trigger on his professional-grade weapons ?
Don't know.

SAMs do not match pictures and you'd be hard pressed to have a ground observer identify anything useable in that area under those conditions (hard pressed to even misidentify something). I guess we have a new angle for the conspiracy theory crowd.
Ostensibly, a more realistic scenario involves times/location not being communicated correctly, but that is all still rather far fetched and you're dealing with an error well in excess of 50 miles.

SAMs don't have brains or think on their own. A human is behind the SAM.

Something wrong with him because you don't agree with him? You and Google's picasso( or whatever his name is )are the epitome of your kind. I suppose your penance is being who you are.
