(You seem to be an exception to that, Blackhawk FWIW)
You’ll always have “those pilots”.

You put that nicer than what I was thinking.

“Lopsided integration”? Your side wouldn’t have agreed if the ASA pilots weren’t needed.

Plenty of blame to go around, but the “reasonable people” over here are losing their patience with everything. We didn’t ask to be bought by Skywest and we didn’t ask to buy a BK ExpressJet. Push us much more and the reasonable folks will help burn it down.

Where are Joe Merchant and Capt. Tony these days?

Right.....and part of that agreement was the displacement protection. Why do you think ERJ had a system bid that upgraded about 90 people? Considering the previous bids were along the lines of 6 or so upgrades and happened once or twice a year.....I’d say the displacement protection and excessive upgrades was our slice of the pie, and the lopsided integration was ASA’s slice of the pie. I guess y’all think you should eat the whole pie. FWIW....we didn’t ask to be bought by SkyWest, either. As to your other point, you didn’t ask to buy a BK ExpressJet because YOU didn’t buy it. Your daddy, SkyWest, bought it. I don’t see how a BK XJT caused your Delta performance to be so awful that they cancelled your contract, but I’m sure you see it that way. We all need to stop the blame and quit trying to step over each other. As vacancies are created, we all expect to never move up the list because ASA guys will take those spots. I’m fine with that. I would also be fine with a 1-to-1 integration and let the displacements fall as they will. You shouldn’t get to have both. IMHO

Quote: I love how all the recruitment ads say “the smart choice.” When you have nothing else to offer, I guess you go with the slogan the smart choice.
XJT Recruiting department is the most tone deaf of tone deaf. They are, essentially, the snake oil salesmen who somehow - after the Titanic is already 50% underwater and about to snap in two is seeking more violinists to come and play a few more songs.

The Smart Choice. Don't even get me started. A recruiting department full of new hire fresh faces, a Flight Attendant, and nothing really to provide besides stupid graphics about how many pilots have gone to whatever airline? Well...no duh!? You're killing people's careers and they're going anywhere they can once they realized all the BS about Good news is on the horizon and Our Mainline partners are noticing BS. Additionally, the smugness that exists from previous unionists who are now holding onto their own careers in "Management" at ExpressJet waiting for that golden ring from St. George to show up is beyond disgusting.

What happened to the CRJ and ERJ pilot groups is nothing less than horrendous. I hope as many of you guys - who want to and who haven't bought into some mythical notion that things will be okay eventually - can get off the dinghy before it is too late.

The clock is ticking and it will expire.

No idea. Not on property.

Since December 27, 2017 I have improved by 56 numbers on the integrated seniority list. We lost 161 last year JUST to other regionals and hired 151. I'm about to give my two weeks. Good luck to all.

Joe Merchant is still on property last I heard. He was posting a lot on the FB Joint Acey page. As for Capt. Tony.....that individual doesn’t work here anymore and doesn’t go by the same name.

Yeah, I was just thinking of Capt Tony. A name no LASA employee will ever forget. We will warn our children and grandchildren to be good or Captain Tony will ruin their lives.
