Have they slowed down? I thought the plan was 40/class. Seems like we are running half that now.

Not sure my math is correct, but I think 20 is half of 40? That class shows 32

There's also no way of knowing how many no shows there were. Lots of new hires have multiple CJOs and are waiting until the last minute to show their cards.

Since the beginning of the year they've averaged 36-37 per class. Assuming 1-2 no shows per class that puts them just under 40 per class. If they run a few slightly larger classes in the next month or so they'll be right at 40.

As I recall, all of last year you were saying similar things about hiring. We butted heads several times. Your perceptions for 2018 actual hiring were proven incorrect.

Please work with actual numbers, not your perceptions.

Plan was not 40 per class, it actually varies every class. 16 April was exactly 32 planned. For the year they are about 16 behind the plan. We have been told that the total number for the year has changed from 910 to 750 however. No reason was give but is most likely due to a high training load this fall when the S80 goes away and 767 starts significantly shrinking.

Any idea if they’ll be reducing the numbers in class, but still running a class every 2 weeks? Or are they planning on hitting the pause button at some point and resuming with 40 per class after a hiatus?
