Quote: I think most Republic pilots are fine with that. Our priority will remain dead last as it always has been, meanwhile AA/WO will drop down to a truly reciprocal level. At least now Republic won't feel taken advantaged of.

Cool story.
Quote: Does Republic own those planes or does AA? I’ve been on Compass planes before and noticed certificate plaques showing AA as the owner, not Compass.
Would it change your opinion one way or the other if you knew the answer? Would be interested to know before I answer your question.

The truth is the truth, I knew you wouldn't like the fact that you hold zero leverage because you can't make Republic any lower then they already are, which is dead last. lolz

It doesn’t change what is fair, but.... If this turns into a ****ing match it makes a big difference in the next contract if those are indeed our aircraft. They may not be, I don’t know. I can tell you, myself and a lot of other American pilots are tired of getting bumped off Jumpseats that are owned by AA. The place to fix things like that are at the union and management level though, not acting like little children at the gate. Thankfully I rarely commute on our RJs.
Quote: In other words, Republic pilots will keep the same priority they always had for your jump seat, dead last (checking in online 24 hours in advance will not count since RAH does not have the reciprocal ability). Seem like you were unaware how low they really were, because you can't make them any lower.

btw, that email is incorrect unless you incorrectly quoted it. You are not below D6, you are on par and it will be the time of check in with the gate agent up to one hour before to see who gets the jump seat. That will make it a truly reciprocal jumpseat agreement between AA and Republic.

Ok we’ll make sure to take a selfie with the gate agent so that our new check in time is in terms you understand 👍

Then I don't care to answer your question.

As per FOM, those check in times will not be accepted for the jumpseat by the CA. Be prepared for a refusal over the first D6 check in.

YX owns the planes. AA owns 25% of YX. The fact that we are treated as if we are not part of AAG is hilarious. You guys can't have it both ways. Even your management and union agree. Welcome to the world of JS on AA as an OAL. It's literally the worst system in the industry

LOL, just found out.

It’s been stated over and over and verified by union and management that AA pilots can’t list as a D6.

The jumpseat will go empty because the American Airlines employed gate agent has their manual on how to do their job. You can refuse a jumpseat rider as per your FOM but that doesn’t mean your book can make them do their job incorrectly.
