Who cares what the FAA thinks? Why not just implement a policy that is the same both ways. Ie, AA pilots get pref on AAC flights above other randoms and AAC get pref on AA above other randoms. Doesn't hurt AA pilots and gives a benefit to whole group.

I think Delta does it this why and their reasonable attitude might be why they are making bank over there.

If AA pilots don't want to give AAC pilots any pref on AA planes, then AAC pilots don't give any pref to AA. That's fine too, but AA pilots should own that position.

All the rest about systems / FAA is just excuses - either the union cares and will put pressure on company to get something worked out or the union doesn't. Can't imagine the company not wanting its pilot groups to get where they want to anyways - so companies interest would seem to be aligned with Republic pilots - the only folks fighting for a me first -> no cookie for anyone else seems to be the AA folks. And for what purpose? They are still first on AA planes as it should be.

What? Majority of AA guys agree republic should go ahead of OAL.

The problem we have is republic messing with AA pilots now when this is a management problem.

Republic pilots are dragging AA pilots into this when the AA guys didn’t do anything. We didn’t make them d6u or aac or whatever tf they are. That’s why AA pilots are upset.

Once again, our intent is to match your priority to ours for the jumpseat. You have the ability to list as a D6 at the gate. Stop spouting lies. Our intent has nothing to do with relegating you to the bottom. If you're listed as a D6 at the top of the list, welcome aboard.

We do not have that ability. Stop spouting lies.

Yup. I couldn’t care less about jumpseat priority but the fact that republic pilots are trying to shaft me for something I had zero to do with does rub me the wrong way.

When AA and Republic made the original supplemental carrier agreement, what was the arrangement for Jumpseat? Was some sort of reciprocal agreement specifically included that AAG has failed to live up to?

(Edited for clarity)

Excuse me but why would an aa or wo pilot list as d6uj on an american flight operated by rah. It's an american flight period. If rah want to run there own flight they can if they want. But, an american flight operated by rah does in no way remove the d1 or d2 or fdj from the standby list it's an American airlines program.
Maybe you should ask rah how much money they want to spend on your behalf to correct the issue. It appears to be a rah problem anyhow. Pony up
the cash first.
Interesting this conversation not going on the republic forum seeing that it's a republic problem.

Yeah, why would they? I guess that is why Republic gave up on all the other options and finally made the reciprocal agreement reciprocal.

Question....if it’s reciprocal that means I should get priority on your Republic’s UAL Express and DAL Connection flights right? cause fair is fair right. That’s reciprocal. Imo
Man you guys actually had a chance to fix this. The mix bag of AA guys are actually very pro active when it comes to the JS. You could of expressed this! I commute on you guys every week. Best of luck to you guys...the majority I deal with are top notch. And I mean it.

I don't think it would have been a bad idea to do a "letter" campaign like we did to educate the problem that was about to occur on the UAL side. Even if it may not have done anything but educate the AA/WO pilots prior to this occurring. I agree with Smoke on that. Why we didn't? don't know.

Your union has been aware for a long time and chose not to communicate this to you effectively. Maybe we should have. It's kind of water under the bridge now.

With a cooperative attitude such as you're expressing here, I sincerely doubt you would be left anywhere and I look forward to sharing the office with you.
Cheers
