Quote: The union reps are on BTL crying about how the 2500 should be grateful the NC got “options”. Funny thing about that, is they just gave the company more options to furlough more without any cost to them. These union guys are so far out in left field it’s amazing. Oh, you got 6 month recall out of it? That’s a concession. Allowing the bid to open without the published estimates? Concession. Furlough out of seniority? Concession. Allowing the bid to be run in 6 days? Concession.

But, it’s all voluntary they say. Yeah, everyone thinks their baby is the cutest. These babies the union just had tho, have hooves and horns. Yet they get all offended if you point it out to them.
Be a man and take the straight F. If you do anything else you are, by your own logic, allowing the company an extra option to furlough without any extra costs.

Honestly, AA has been handling this by far better than the other 2 legacies, IMO. They have been completely honest w all work groups since the news to slit throats. The lack of comms from the union was tough to swallow, and the bomb dropped wout any comms is what sucked. Speaking the obvious. You very well might be right, and furloughs might be less than they projected. Im a bubble guy and pref alternate sked along w it in conditional.. Maybe it will help someone? I refuse bid any ZHL and make less than than the govt aid. All that’s left is watch who picks up open and prm while there are hundreds on zero hour lines.

So you support concessions? You support furloughing more pilots? You support eroding seniority?

We can go around the block all day on this. Either way, the company will get what it needs/wants. The union just made it easier and cheaper for them to do it. Assuming we actually have to go down that road, if the CARES Act support isn’t extended for 6 months.

It doesn’t look good for an extension.

He can send us two (and not just a republication of Article #1) that indicate where Payroll Support for airlines is confirmed in the failed bill. which never came to light anyway in the present form.

I mean other then majority of congress as backed it and the president. It will most likely be offered as an amendment and based on the tea leave be added easily.
