Quote: You need a drivers license to drive a car. Is that tyranny?

At some point, being a responsible citizen requires doing things you may not want to do. Time to put on your big boy pants.

Or exile yourself like the Amish.

Is there a federal driver's license or are they administered by the state
Quote: Actually the government thinks otherwise... Being open to the public means that businesses cannot discriminate, according to the government.

Coercing peaceful people to do anything against their will is vile and the very definition of tyranny not to mention.
Are you that guy called Rhino or Pay Your Bills from another forum? Any YouTube videos of you vs the police out there anywhere?

"Coercion" and "Incentivize" have distinctly different meanings. See google for more details.

Most people need and now have the federal version. It is administered by each state of course, and (in some states at least) you can opt for the state-only version (without Real-ID).

Yes, there is zero reason the government needs to certify someone to be able to drive. Private certification, training, insurance? Sure, absolutely, they are all great ideas. But there is no reason the government needs to be presiding over that because they are incompetent and political with everything they do.

My choosing not to get a vaccine has nothing to do with responsible citizenship.

If I don't get a vaccine, it doesn't affect anyone other than myself.

Absolutely. And others can opt not to associate with you.

I assume you're an airline pilot... the governments of Canada for sure, likely Mexico, and most over-water destinations are not going to let you associate with their citizens (ie enter the country) without a vaccine. We can start a pool as to when THAT will start going into effect... I'm picking Sep 1st.

This is 100% unequivocally false. You're a living, breathing member of society. And some of those exhales could easily contain COVID.

So unless you plan on living like the Unabomber, you will put others at risk. For no other reason than your paranoia. Also, good luck explaining to your airline that you can't fly international anymore. I wonder how your chief pilot will appreciate that.

On top of that, very few people actually shed viable virus when they get covid. https://academic.oup.com/cid/advance...aa1491/5912603

There is no guarantee that a vaccine will prevent the vaccinated person from spreading the virus if they get infected. How this will work is not yet known.

Japan, the host of the Olympics this summer has said they will NOT require visitors to be vaccinated. I don’t see required proof of vaccination being a thing.

If other people have the vaccine, then I am not putting them at risk if I choose not to get it myself.
