Quote: Cute. When were you hired again?
What does his hire date have to do with anything.... right is right
Quote: After all the serious, we work together, unity, fresh blood, the CHANGE we need, blah blah, you got me convinced and onboard that the winds of working together and work for a better contract are here, we are gonna pull together, the past is the past... THIS more jabs, it'll never stop, from either side, specially the you guys, nothing will ever make any of you happy, even after you are in control.

I thank God is not the majority. And I am pretty sure of it. Some of us, the majority are the swing votes....
Comments that demean the other side don't help.
No, you are wrong. It is the majority. They are just afraid of retribution for speaking up. We must all study the past...over and over again ... until we get it.

Trust me. They will do it to us again. This MEC and NC is no place for cry babies.

Thanks ALPAshut...Its not too late to undo the damage. Never give up.
Quote: Yea, there's a disconnect alright. The AFA didn't tell them if they voted the contract down they would be in no mans land. The AFA didn't threaten to quit and leave them to the will of the company. The AFA didn't tell them the company will NEVER go public. The AFA didn't tell the 'we got em over a barrel' when in reality the contract language was weak and wouldn't hold up to arbitration.

I applaud the AFA for not threatening to walk out on the FAs and happily went back to the table. A true sign of professionalism.
Yeap. I really hate to say it. But I heard ALL that Orbit cited, personally with my own ears, directly from our former MEC leaders/negotiators. I was there. As it is written: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

No, you are wrong, the majority don't want this blame game, the majority want to move forward wit a better contract.

Quote: Our F/A's just voted down the second TA offered by management. They have TWICE the cojones of our 2010 brethren.
Learn something with them!
Wait. What?! They got to READ the TA BEFORE voting on it?! What a novel concept, can we do that too?
On another note....SAVE has been on a freefall since yesterday. At the time of this post at $64.38, down 3.7%. It dropped about 3% yesterday.
Ebola "people will stop flying" jitters?! I'm glad I have a nice amount of money invested in pharmaceuticals.

All the airlines are taking a hit, if anything Ebola seems like it would have more of an impact on long haul Intl stuff
The market in general is taking a hit. Typical pull back, nothing really to worry about.
