I'm not familiar as to why the FA's have had two failed TA's in 10 months, but at a minimum it points to a disconnect between AFA leadership and the rank and file. I'd guess that management wants their contract done before the pilot contract openers.

I applaud the AFA for not threatening to walk out on the FAs and happily went back to the table. A true sign of professionalism.

Yea, there's a disconnect alright. The AFA didn't tell them if they voted the contract down they would be in no mans land. The AFA didn't threaten to quit and leave them to the will of the company. The AFA didn't tell them the company will NEVER go public. The AFA didn't tell the 'we got em over a barrel' when in reality the contract language was weak and wouldn't hold up to arbitration.

I thank God is not the majority. And I am pretty sure of it. Some of us, the majority are the swing votes....
Comments that demean the other side don't help.

After all the serious, we work together, unity, fresh blood, the CHANGE we need, blah blah, you got me convinced and onboard that the winds of working together and work for a better contract are here, we are gonna pull together, the past is the past... THIS more jabs, it'll never stop, from either side, specially the you guys, nothing will ever make any of you happy, even after you are in control.
I thank God is not the majority. And I am pretty sure of it. Some of us, the majority are the swing votes....
