Yes, but that's like saying you want clean air and water. Who doesn't want clear air and water? Who doesn't want a better contract?

Forget the blame game, let's just be logical. The NC and MEC are currently led by and directed by the same people who gave us C2010 and took us to strike to get it. C2010 gained almost nothing. Everything you think of as good in C2010 was already there in 2002 and earlier.

Let's suppose that all of your opposition goes away and the incumbent team stays in power in both the MEC and the NC. What makes you think that they will do anything different that what they did in 2003 and 2010?

You see my friend, a whole bunch of us want a great contract EVEN MORE THAN YOU. You wanna know why we get into these conflicts?, it's because you imply that if we'd just "all get along", you will get Delta plus 1.

We want you to know that past performance IS a predictor of future performance.

We've lived the disappointment of two contracts in a row where our expectations (promised by both Spirit and Spirit ALPA) were dashed by the outcome of the negotiations. We've lived through a strike that gained almost nothing, if it even did that. We've lived through being told that we'd be in "no mans land" if we voted the TA down, and then found out years later that the reason was that our MEC and NC signed a 6 page long "back to work" agreement that effectively ratified the contract and left us no realistic choice.

So please, stop assuming that you're going to get a great contract if we all just "stop the blame game". The "blame game" isn't what's stopping you from getting a great contract.

We're trying to be the watchmen on the wall and sound the alarm.

I thank God is not the majority. And I am pretty sure of it. Some of us, the majority are the swing votes....
Comments that demean the other side don't help.
What part of Orbit's post demeaned the other side?

Everything he wrote is truthful. Does the truth hurt? Is the truth demeaning?

For someone that wasn't here in 2003 or 2010 please explain to me how the same MEC is in office. I know for a fact FLL is different. Aren't these two year terms? How is it the same negotiating committee? I'm pretty sure at least one of them wasn't even here in 2010.

Btw I still want to know who this classless excuse for a pilot called spiritman is.

Half of our negotiating committee was hired in 2011. 2/6 members of the MEC were hired post strike. And regarding 'no gains' in C2010: care to post the FO payrates from the previous contract? And they topped out at $109/hr right? Listening to Skybolt is a lot like listening to Obama speak: good delivery but lots of trouble with the facts. I waste a lot of time refuting him for fear that some poor guy might start to believe a lot of what he posts.

I created a new drinking game, every time Obama says "Folks" you take a shot. Should be hammered by the end of his speeches.........

You don't spend time refuting me, you spend time taking shots at Bone Daddy's BBQs.

My next to last post said that we want a great contract even more than you, refute that!

I'm still wondering how it's the same MEC and negotiating committee when clearly it is not. I don't have a side here I'm just wondering what you guys are talking about

[QUOTE=A320Flyer;1738606]On another note....SAVE has been on a freefall since yesterday. At the time of this post at $64.38, down 3.7%. It dropped about 3% yesterday.
Ebola "people will stop flying" jitters?! I'm glad I have a nice amount of money invested in pharmaceuticals.

Large Cap Pharma up 7.37% in the last year

SAVE up 107.05% in the last year
(Source:Barchart)

6% a "free fall"? Please tell me that you are not part of the negotiating committee
