bruhaha more or less outlined what happens on a high level pretty closely. There are some minor variations/additions what happens on the NK ops spec.

It takes a bit longer usually than 2 days for the frame to enter the spec here. The down time between the initial arrival of the aircraft and EIS is a pretty standard timeframe set to create a buffer in case anything goes wrong in which case you have to go fishing for planes, usually at the expense of a spare. Its best to have a more conservative plan when it comes to this stuff which more often than not allows for "soft testing" to rotate the aircraft through a few times before it is really needed to pick up its scheduled lines of flying.

I notice that 529 was fitted the new "bucket style" seats, witch it provides more legroom, even on the last row, thicker seat cushion (than 320s), wider isle, people can actually roll their bags, and even when somebody stops, another person can get around, that much room. It also comes with just 2 bungee cords (no pocket-net), and a tray the size of a small tablet. Also the are somewhat lighter that the other seats.

The comfort is day and night, specially for tall people.

I wonder if we are retrofitting all of them!?

Company email/read file. Looks like 5 319's retrofitting as we speak. 2015 deliveries will come installed.

Sounds like a positive change. If we can keep improving the customer experience, it'll make us an even more formidable airline.

My family uses our travel benefits frequently and have only had pleasant experiences, when it comes to service.
My in laws traveled stby on Spirit and were treated very well.
Boarded first both ways and received seat assignments much prior to final boarding. Flights were full both ways.
As mentioned in previous posts, our customer service is excellent, especially on board, where the FAs do an outstanding job dealing with the challenges of "uninformed" passengers.
Large majority of pax leave the AC happy and complement the crews.
The occasional demands:
"Can you shut that baby up?"
" I paid too much money to walk down stairs"
are often met with patience and diplomacy.

More legroom will make everyone happier.

I sat in 529 the other day and there is a ton of legroom. It is unbelievable how much more. But they also made the seats narrower by a good bit. The aisle is really wide now, perhaps they are hoping for quicker boarding. Still, I have no idea how our average passenger will fit. I think the width will be a real problem. I am not a wide guy but I was miserable in these seats for 2.5h. I did get the middle seat. It is bad. Totally shoulder to shoulder. Such a hit and miss.

Nothing like getting cozy under a winner's armpit wearing some commemorative tang top.

I went online to fill out the pilot app and I got an email saying I needed to complete an assessment. A link was provided, which I clicked and it was a "practice assessment". When I finished the practice assessment, it said to go back to my email and click the link for the assessment, but there is no other link. It just keeps sending me back to the practice assessment. Any ideas?

No clue. That's the first time I've heard of this process.
