I agree.... How does 30% sound.. That should put you around 220$

I dont quite understand why everyone is trying to compare us to Delta. Delta is on pace to make almost 4 BILLION dollars this year. We might make 200 million. Say we have 1300 pilots on the list when the next TA is reached, if every pilot gets a 40k/per year raise that equals a 52 million dollar increase over our current contract. Over 25% of the yearly profit. I dont see any way the company would agree to a cost increase like that.

I hope it happens but I dont see anyway the company agrees to a contract like that in the next 4 years.

Well, there are no other ultra low cost carriers although Frontier is soon to be one. But who cares, a Spirit pilot flies an Airbus into the same airports as any other airline and is held to the same standards as any other pilot and should be paid as any other pilot. Low cost airline does not mean low cost pilot...

Which was done with just under 60 airframes. By the time the ink dries on the next CBA the operation may be upwards of 75-80 airframes, more than likely between 130-140 by time it becomes amendable. I've already financed the growth here once, not interested in doing so again.

Im sure he was but he was also aware that when the contract was up he would be able to bargain for improvements. Do you want improvements?

As long as our LF doesn't continue to decline. im assuming LFs always take a hit initially with new routes etc.....

The yields are what concern me. The second quarter profit increase was do to higher fares. If we can't fill the planes we can't increase ticket prices. New cities and competing head to head with frontier is not going to help.

Ebola "people will stop flying" jitters?! I'm glad I have a nice amount of money invested in pharmaceuticals.
