I think 87 hours per month average is probably about right.

I once had a 125 hour month. 1 in 12 years.

I have flown with Captains who were getting 140 hours of pay with multiple green-slips. I believe this.

I have heard about 200 hour months - pretty hard to do but it is possible.

I do not see how 300+ hours is possible. Even if you had an 88 hour award and then had your whole month replaced with green-slips with conflict (which is probably not mathematically realistic in a category over 150 crews) you would still be well short of 300.

Please explain how this would be possible. And then sign me up for the 300 hour/month plan.

I always think the ones who aren't looking at the camera are the real trouble makers. Including the one in the middle. I bet he posts underboob.

I like flying with the guys who just put their fist up and say "shake and bake"

That is the appropriate level of briefing for most domestic legs.

That's pretty funny.

I heard a funny one though, someone called to push off a gate in ATL, the ramp tower said... "no. you don't even have a tug in front of the plane yet and they're still loading bags." Silence. d'oh.

It's clean. Don't know why they named it what they did though.

Found this pretty funny.

Actually, scary how accurate it is.
What is the deal with crew scheds always giving you SC on your first day back from days off. Without fail, always SC on the first day back. So dumb. How about using SC strategically to help out scheduling in a pinch. Nope, won't do that. They go with the non sequitur of assigning it to your first day back from days off.

I live in base so it does not matter to me when I get SC. I just find it horribly annoying that it's always on the first day back and that crew scheduling is that simple. I would hope that they use SC to help themselves out but I do not believe that to be the case. I really believe they hand it out willy nilly. So dumb.

Rant over

As a side note, I'll bet pineapple guy loves the fact that they do that. It's a shiv in the ribs of commuters.

how but stuff management (any airline) says?
"we're going to use the RJs to grow the market"
