I know DAL management constantly uses this scam argument, but it's incomprehensible why you do. People like you are so devastating to a union.

Agree. It seems all his answers have a company ring or management spill to them. Don't worry Carl, he says he ONLY has 3 years left.

I smell management rats on this forum trying to 'manage' our expectations!

Carl, I agree with your first statement but why do you always have to attack views that you don't agree with? I tend to agree with Sailing about how long it is going to take us to get an acceptable contract. I like hearing all arguments on the topics we discuss on APC, I don't agree with them all but I respect the fact that everybody on here wants what's best for DL pilots, we just have different views and different ways of getting there.
I like reading most of your posts but you are one angry man, take a chill pill !

Sailing often plays devils advocate- not a bad thing.

On the topic of other employees... I don't care what they think about my salary. From the day I was hired, they made me wear a black hat. Dont ever forget that you do too. In their eyes, you will ALWAYS be overpaid.

Delta pays super senior mammas 50k per year after tax to sling cokes 8 days every other month. I'll bet there are FA's with w2's that equal an md 88 copilot's. Our plight is not to be confused with our image among the other employee groups, many of whom don't plan to make a career here.

At least Carl comes up with a good rebuttal before he attacks. I guess if you can't come up with an intelligent response then just revert to name calling. What grade school do you currently attend ?

I'm not pointing at anybody in particular. But management does monitor these forums. I wouldn't be surprised if one or two are posting here either. There are pilots in managements as well.

So if they don't agree with you they are either a union hack or a management hack ? Well then where is my fpl and where is my 7 figure salary ?

Maybe some people just have an opinion that differs from yours.

When I asked a Capt rep about a year ago if we could expect big raises he asked me "what would the other employee groups think?" to which I responded with an elevated voice "I don't care! They didnt seem to say much when I lost my pension!". ALPA will continue to try to manage expectations.

So, you don't think we should get large raises and better work rules?
