The general idea is- if a mod does something, respect it and don't get all butthurt and post on the thread about it. That fixes nothing and the non-DL mods are suspicious of this thread anyways.

Suspicious? Of what, exactly? (Granted, I'm catching up on post-Holiday LAGAD, and missed what Bar posted.)

That all being said: Bar's logic is sound I believe... however, if you're really that upset about something someone said on here, remember... IT'S AN INTERNET WEB BOARD. It's not life or death.

Agreed. Bar has been, IMMHO, one of the few posters on this forum who routinely has well thought-out and worthwhile posts. Like humor in a speech, ___boob or whatever helps keep the flow interesting and creative thoughts and analysis going.

We need to move to a more streamlined takeoff briefing and fewer handshakes in the crewroom.

So I invite 1 mod over to the house, 80, and see what he did

Total infraction.

I think 87 hours per month average is probably about right.

I once had a 125 hour month. 1 in 12 years.

I have flown with Captains who were getting 140 hours of pay with multiple green-slips. I believe this.

I have heard about 200 hour months - pretty hard to do but it is possible.

I do not see how 300+ hours is possible. Even if you had an 88 hour award and then had your whole month replaced with green-slips with conflict (which is probably not mathematically realistic in a category over 150 crews) you would still be well short of 300.

Please explain how this would be possible. And then sign me up for the 300 hour/month plan.

"Did it go in?"

That's what she said!!

FWIW, when I see ftb in the crewroom, he's getting the 12-stepper high five. You'd better be practiced up.

Some of the others think we're too lax on this thread and let things slip by. It's been dealt with and we all know that everything to do with lax goes to Alaska anyways.

I always think the ones who aren't looking at the camera are the real trouble makers. Including the one in the middle. I bet he posts underboob.

I like flying with the guys who just put their fist up and say "shake and bake"

That is the appropriate level of briefing for most domestic legs.
