R2 - 4.85 hours pay credit
R1 - zero
Except if you're a Regular/Hybrid/VTO lineholder, leave your residence at the start of a trip, get sent home to sit R1, then get called back out. When you get called back out in that case, CRT gets loaded into those R1 days as if you were on the road. That was good for ~16 hours of pay for hanging out at home earlier this month.

Hey 744driver, Can you give us some idea what you have been averaging CRT/credit time since moving over to the 76 left seat? Best regards.

True, but it only matters if you stay out long enough to break guarantee. Seems like they've been sending guys home to R1 when they get close.

Precisely my point, being awarded a line with 80 hours is immaterial when they convert you to R1 as soon as you hit guarantee.

Thanks for the replies guys!

January to May 2013 for me on the 767
CRT credit average of about 75 hours...

For most of us on the 767 at Atlas, the rig is greater than block hours + DH credit...so, we are getting paid (basically) for being gone from home. There are a few high time lines where the two are almost equal (approx 75 hours per month), but usually the CRT trumps the other calculations.

That has held true for me on the 747 as well.

To be fair, after a couple months of dropped trips myself, I got curious and started looking to see if guys are getting sent home early to keep them at guarantee this month. The majority seemed to be staying on their lines, with the occasional R2 being sent home a couple days early.

Not defending the company or anyone else, just posting what I saw on the PCD.

To add, I only checked CVG for this.

A very nice Bloomberg article on the 25th provided a healthy discussion regarding the -8 platform, deliveries and the overall market the freighter/pax models are enduring. I will try to post the article when I get to a computer----or an esteemed friend posts it first.

Looks like a flat 3-4Q:2013; however, as many have said, AAWW finds the path to strong performance.

Stay thirsty...

Is Hawaii considered domestic for the purposes of gateway travel and the first class or coach ticket?
