Quote: What is your limit per night on hotels?
$129. You can ussually find a room at a Marriot or Hilton property for that.

The $129 is a guideline. The biggest deal is that you use discretion when booking hotels. Managements doesn't want you in the Ritz and really doesn't want you in the No-Tell Roach Motel.
Booking the Courtyard for $119 vs the full service Marriott for $139 will save hundreds of thousands of dollars each year.
The meals are a hard number that need Managment approval.

Ran into a crew today, both said they are looking to bail ASAP. They said things have been going down hill fast which is to bad because they said with just a little tweaking this place could be like Net Jets, now they fear it will be the next Avantair. I live in DFW and would love a "home based" job. I am currently an SIC in a light jet with more time off and making more $$ than an EAS captain, doesn't jive to well for me. I am glad I was able to get the info from here and talk to a crew before I tried to work at EAS. No offense meant I am sure for some this could work, just depends on the person I guess

Quote: I understand that, I work at EAS as well, and PIC days over 20 are 450. Just curious where you got 250 from.
I stand corrected, I was going off something else I heard ( which was also incorrect) but after reviewing the book it is indeed 450. Not enough to break 20 days IMO but that's a different subject

Keep in mind AirShare has 70+ pilots on the fractional side. Out of those 70, I'm guessing fewer than 10 are posters on this forum. Those 10 do not paint an accurate picture of the morale here.

quoted for truth. The morale is DEFINITELY not good here.

Yeah I'm not a forumoholic like some of these people. Like I said in a previous post, this forum and particularly this thread are what helped me get the interview and job at AirShare. I read the thread a few times prior to interviewing and good grief it sounded like nothing but doom and gloom.

After almost a year here I'm glad to ruffle some feathers and report back, I'm still happy here. Things aint so bad.

To all of the people looking to interview and get on with AirShare, this job is what you make it. 12/3 can be miserable if your paired up with an Emo or it can be an awesome time when your paired up with someone who's positive and enjoys being here. The 10 or so AirShare pilots who flood this thread with negativity aren't giving you the entire picture. I took the job with a positive attitude and it has been good to me.

And anything over 20 days is $450/day for PIC and $300/day for SIC.

The $200/day is for exceeding 20 days while doing initial/upgrade training events since they count as days worked.
