Has anyone that did the 737 type at HPA with your post-9/11 bill get it paid yet and have exact numbers on how many months/dollars worth of benefits you lost?

That's exactly the information we're all waiting for. I talked with HPA last week to see if they had closed the loop with the VA on any graduated students...Gail said no. They're basically just holding onto the $1500 deposit until the VA can figure out how many months the course will cost.

The guy I am waiting on to tell me his results is at 6 of the 6-8 weeks for reimbursement and checking on what his VA account now says.

Standby to standby...

Does anyone know a good place to get a 74 type (VA approved)? I know HPA does not do it. Thanks!
BOGSAT post 43 on 11 Aug

Hi all,

In addition to the question asked by BOGSAT a few weeks ago does anybody know who is VA approved and provides B747-400, B777 or A340 type ratings?

I am going through the laborious process of weeding through the 328 returned items from the WEAMs website (shame there's not an easier way to separate the wheat from the chaff).

Thanks in advance,

CB

Spoke with HP today. They recently (in the last week or so) had their first post 9/11 GI Bill student paid for (they've been doing classes with Post 9/11 since Nov). 10 months of eligibility used.

Slow process as would be expected with VA. Literally took more than 3 months to get my eligibility certificate, and that included a solid three weeks of phone calls asking about my staus. So, start early and check up often. If you call at EXACTLY 0700 CST you can actually talk to someone. Good luck!

Understand 10???

9 more than what the VA told me on their help site.

A year's (+) worth of tuition and books for less than 10K?

...re-engaging to confirm

Affirm, 10 is what they told me. HP was also shocked. They are anxiously awaiting the next payment to determine if it will be consistent for everyone.

If u are out there 10 month guy, we'd like to hear from you!

Well that stinks,...I sucked most of mine up getting a BS and MS. I have 2 months left and was hoping to use them at HP but 10 months!? Holy cow!
