Some Military time does count. FAR 121.436 (c)

For the purpose of satisfying the flight hour requirement in paragraph (a)(3) of this section, a pilot may credit 500 hours of military flight time obtained as pilot in command of a multi- engine turbine-powered, fixed-wing air- plane in an operation requiring more than one pilot.

Yeah I was wrong, up to 500 hours of PIC (AC) time in a multi engine fixed wing turbine powered aircraft requiring more than two pilots may be counted. If someone has 500 hours or more of AC Pic turbine time they won't be at any regional for very long.

Why do you say that? Do you know something I don't know!? I need around 400 more PIC hours to get my 1000 PIC.

Pilots with military experience seem to have no problem getting hired by the majors. Apply at Delta, United, SouthWest, or JetBlue and you should have a new job soon (at least in theory).

People keep telling me I should apply. Maybe I'll take my reserve time tomorrow sitting at home and actually start filling out airline apps.

1000 hours PIC is only required by Southwest, UPS and Fedex. Apply and I don't think it will take long for any other major to call.
